WHAT is it – First of all, we will see what Helpdesk is.

A help desk is a resource intended to provide the customer or end user with information and support related to company or institution’s products and services. The purpose of a help desk is usually to troubleshoot problems or provide guidance about products such as computers, electronic equipment, food, apparel, or software.

IT Helpdesk is a software solution restricted for solving IT related issues. Usually it’s a web based call logging and service ticket generation facility used through internet or intranet.

Customization of entire process is very much possible.

For WHOM is it meant for – It is practically meant for everyone where an IT Department exists & operational.

WHY is it needed – Today, without computers, life seems impossible.  So IT plays a key role in every organization.
